Well, it had to be Martin Seligman’s best seller Authentic Happiness: Using the New Positive Psychology to Realise Your Potential for Lasting Fulfilment. Pymble, Australia: Simon and Schuster, 2002.

A good, inspiring read that could be read by even the most hard-boiled and cynical pessimist, that will get you thinking about those intentional activities that you can control to change your state and those of your children, more permanently.
