Patients' Stories
The following is an excerpt from a letter written to Mr Clive Lindley-Jones regarding one of his recent Sunflower therapy patients:
Leo's story

Pre Sunflower Treatment,
exerts form school report;
Form Teacher:
"Leo has not impressed much this term, I am afraid….. He has proved himself unwilling to switch on in class or make any huge effort in his written work. He sits on his feet, stares out of the window and plays with his hair; this is not acceptable…. He needs constant reminding, which is very irritating…his marks reflected little effort... The bottom line is that Leo may have the ability but, if he is unwilling to use it or show I, I have little with which to work"
Headmaster:
"remain a little disappointed that Leo has not risen…. To the challenges of the top stream. …. He does not concentrate and motivate himself enough to make the most of his abilities and realise his potential.."
Six months later, Post Sunflower Treatment,
exerts from school report;
Form Teacher:
"Leo is a different boy from the one I wrote about so frankly last term, He is highly motivated, determined and cheerfully engaged in lessons. His written work is of a very decent standard and he is keen to improve from week to week….. work was very good and showed clarity of expression and good knowledge of the set text…. I am delighted to say that I have every faith in Leo; if he keeps believing in himself as much as I believe in him; we could be on track for a major turn around!"
Headmaster:
"This a very pleasing set of reports and I commend Leo on all that he has achieved this term I am delighted to see that his exam results are now beginning to match his ability. Well done Leo!"
