Can I get my treatments on the NHS?
At present, sadly, there is very little osteopathy available on the NHS.
There are a few osteopaths working in hospitals or GP practices, but the majority of tax payers are not offered osteopathy despite the increasing recognition of osteopathy as one of the major first treatment options for many painful conditions, including back pain.
While physiotherapy is excellent in its own way, it is a different profession, with a different approach, and is no substitute for osteopathic care.
I have medical insurance. Can I get my treatments paid for through this?
Yes, this is very probable.
Mr Lindley-Jones, the senior osteopath, is registered with most major insurance companies such as BUPA, PPP and Tricare (for U.S. service personnel and their dependents). Sometimes these companies like to have a letter of referal from your GP or surgeon. To speed up payments we recommend you check with your company first.
Which methods of payment do you accept?
We accept the following:
- Cash
- Cheques
- Debit / Credit cards
